Community Guidelines
WorkLinkHub works because people help each other. These guidelines keep it useful, honest and safe for everyone — locals and newcomers, job seekers and employers, families, students, volunteers and organisations.
Last updated: September 2026 · Version 1.1
Be genuine
- Use your real name and real details.
- Only post jobs, services, accommodation or opportunities that actually exist.
- Be clear about pay, hours, fees, deposits, conditions and who you are.
- Never impersonate another person, business or organisation.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation.
- No hate speech or discriminatory content of any kind.
- No sexual or inappropriate content, and absolutely nothing sexual involving a young person.
- Disagree politely; people here come from many countries and backgrounds.
Keep people safe
- Never ask for or send money, deposits or fees to secure a job.
- No scams, fraud or illegal goods, services or work arrangements.
- Do not share anyone's personal information — including your own date of birth, private email address, phone number or documents — publicly.
- Verify who you are dealing with before meeting, paying or signing anything.
No spam or misuse
- No spam, bulk posting or repeated unsolicited advertising.
- No malicious links, malware or links designed to mislead.
- Never ask anyone for a password, bank details, card numbers or other financial credentials.
- Do not misuse someone else's personal information, and never publish another person's contact details without their permission.
Extra care with young people
My Future accounts belong to 13-17 year olds. Their profiles are separate, private by default and not publicly searchable. Adults must not attempt to contact young members outside the protections built into the platform.
Check official sources
Grants, funding and tenders shown from official sources always link back to the original. Eligibility, deadlines and amounts change — always confirm on the official source before applying or making a decision.
Health and medical claims
These rules apply everywhere on WorkLinkHub — posts, profiles, listings, comments, messages and any future healthcare-related features. The following are not allowed:
- Impersonating a doctor, nurse, therapist or any other regulated healthcare professional.
- False or exaggerated claims about medical qualifications, training or expertise.
- Misleading claims about professional registration, licensing or regulatory approval.
- Offering a diagnosis, or claiming to treat or cure a condition, without the qualifications and authority to do so.
- Unsafe or unlawful medical, treatment or medicine advertising.
- Claiming to represent a clinic, practice or healthcare provider without their authority.
Healthcare directory listings
Healthcare listings on WorkLinkHub come from official or publicly available sources and are shown for information only. They are not recommendations, and inclusion does not mean a provider is approved by or affiliated with WorkLinkHub. If a detail is wrong, use the correction link on the listing rather than reposting the information yourself.
If something is wrong
Use the Report option on a profile, post, listing, job, accommodation listing, service or message, or send us a message through Help & Support. Reports are private and only authorised WorkLinkHub administrators can see them. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these guidelines.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
